Track mileage between service windows
A route vehicle may reach its next scheduled service before a calendar reminder. Record current mileage and recent oil and filter service, then use the vehicle manufacturer’s schedule for its operating conditions. Avoid applying one interval to every vehicle.
Bring stop-and-go symptoms into the booking
Report braking noise, vibration, steering changes, or warning lights when requesting service. Include whether symptoms happen loaded, cold, or after a long route. RAW can discuss brakes, diagnostics, steering, suspension, and routine maintenance.
Stagger service around dispatch
List the units that can be spared and the next available off-route window. Ask RAW to confirm an appointment before moving route assignments. Keep a backup dispatch plan for faults that need further diagnosis or parts.
Review repeat visits
Keep service dates, mileage, work performed, and recurring complaints together. A repeated symptom is useful context for the next diagnosis; it should not be treated as proof that the same part has failed again.
